Josiah Taru
Josiah Taru trained as an economic anthropologist under the Human Economy Programme at the University of Pretoria. His work focuses on how Pentecostalism shapes individual and collective economic subjectivities in a highly informal Zimbabwean economy. Josiah has held a fellowship at KU Leuven, the University of Konstanz, the University College of London, and the University of Pretoria. Josiah has published in Religion, State and Society; Journal of Religion in Africa; Journal for the Study of Religion; and Anthropology Southern Africa.
