Judith Brunton Reappointed as Boniuk Institute Faculty Fellow

We are pleased to announce the reappointment of Judith Brunton as a Boniuk Institute Faculty Fellow. An Assistant Professor of Religion at Rice University, Brunton is a scholar of religion and its interactions with the environment and the cultural study of science. Her research examines how religious and cultural worldviews shape relationships with the natural world, technology, and ideas about progress and the "good life." We look forward to continuing our collaboration with Judith as she brings these perspectives to the Institute's research and scholarship.
Research Scholar Adrienne Bradley Joins the BI Team
We're excited to welcome back Adrienne Bradley, a former Boniuk Institute Undergraduate Scholar, who has joined the Institute as a Research Analyst. Bradley graduated from Rice University in 2025 with a degree spanning Sociology History, and Cinema and Media Studies. During her time at Rice, her interdisciplinary interests included religion and public life, media and society, and the ways that culture shapes our understanding of identity and community.
As a research analyst, Bradley will contribute to the Institute's research, bringing her previous experience with the Institute and her interdisciplinary perspective to this work. We look forward to having Adrienne back on the team!
